Ski Cat program participants receive instruction on classical techniques. Fundamental skills and maneuvers are taught through ski games and activities with peers.

Ages: 5-10 (but 10 year olds with Ski Cat or equivalent skills may enroll in Middle School program for additional challenges)
Ability: Beginner to intermediate
When: 2:00 – 3:30 pm, Sundays, January 12 & 19 and February 2, 9, 16 and 23, 2025.
Where: Blueberry Ridge Pathways and the NTN Forestville Trailhead
Cost: $85 (includes individual SSC membership for the Ski Cat)
Scholarships are available to those in need. Please discuss with the program coordinator for more details.
Rental Equipment is available on a first come first serve basis. You will be contacted after registration if you indicate you need equipment during registration.
- There is a $75.00 fee for the use of a complete set of classic equipment for the season. You will not be charged until equipment is distributed.
Parent volunteers are key to a quality Ski Cats program. Opportunities include on-snow helpers, cocoa and snack bringers and/or servers, and full-season Coaches. (Coaches can register one Ski Cat for free).
Our new Ski Cats Coordinator Allison Carmody looks forward to working with our youngest skiers and their parents as the new Ski Cats Coordinator. Carmody brings experience to the task after working as the Volunteer Coordinator for the Wisconsin Interscholastic Cycling Association, a branch of NICA, the National Interscholastic Cycling Association. Carmody organized 300 volunteers per weekend, over 8 event weekends and is a level 3 coach for a local WI cycling team.
