Superiorland Ski Club wants to make Nordic skiing available to youth iregardless of disability. We have purchased two sit-skis for those who are unable to use traditional skis, and are prepared to work with visually impaired individuals who want to cross country ski. Volunteers are available to work one-on-one with those needing adaptive equipment to ski with us. Feel free to contact Jenifer Kilpela to discuss the accommodations necessary for your young person to have fun and succeed.
After a successful pilot year, the Superiorland Ski Club is proud to officially launch our six-week Youth Para Nordic Cross-Country Skiing program. This club-level sport is designed for young athletes of all abilities, providing an introduction to the fundamentals of Nordic skiing in a supportive and inclusive environment. Guided by experienced coaches, the program follows USSA Para Nordic guidelines to ensure safety, adaptability, and skill progression tailored to each skier’s needs. Whether you’re new to the sport or looking to enhance your technique, this program offers a fantastic opportunity to learn, grow, and enjoy the excitement of cross-country skiing.
Individual membership for the enrolled child is included in the fee. You will have the option to add a family membership for $15 at the end of registration.
